What this blog strives to be
I'd like this to be quick, funny and informative. Initially I plan to provide daily samples of what Tennessee bloggers are talking about, a sort of one-stop online barbershop highlighting what our neighbors are talking about.

A blog is akin to a living organism in that it evolves. So where it goes down the road is anyone's guess.

Throughout, though, I hope it to be a light, easy read with a healthy sampling of tongue-in-cheek postings.

I also hope to highlight some events and issues that bloggers across the state and the world pickup that you may not see elsewhere.

In following blogging for nearly three years, I've been impressed with the civility and respect generally shown. Please adhere to that when posting comments.

My page is not edited and at times that may show. My postings go directly to the Internet, as do comments. I reserve the right to delete inappropriate comments so please keep it clean and civil with lots of humor.

What this blog won't be
My blog is not the voice of the News Sentinel. That voice is on the Editorial Page. I will also comment very little, if any, on issues and people I cover.
