You do not HAVE to publically attach your name to any of your submissions here. If you have written a piece whose views or positions would make you uncomfortable if others (such as your friends, family or co-workers) knew about, then you do have the option of making the article "anonymous". This is simply means that your name will not show up with the article or the classified, etc. For articles you have the additional option of having your name show up with the full article itself, just not anywhere summaries of the article appear. You can even go to the extreme of going into personal profile and setting your account itself to anonymous. When you do this not only will your name not appear on any articles or classifieds, etc you post, but you name simply will not show up among the list of members.
