The Editors

An editor (as the term is used here) is someone who has been given the abilty to edit any article, classified ad or banner, etc on this site. In general they are given this ability to serve the purpose for the site of a general copy editor. That is, someone who corrects typographical mistakes, grammatical errors, suggests ways to improve one's language where applicable and so forth.

They also have the ability to hide away any comments on the site that have been reported (or deemed as) innapproriate for the community audience. However, they can not see any messages marked as private any moreso can any other member.

Typically an editor is someone who has background as a writer, has degrees in English or served in a secretarial role at some point.

Editors work in a support role for the general The Staff .
